What caught my attention was how well and heavily equipped it was. However it did need some work as follows. There were several deck leaks that I fixed. The wooden port lamps/windows frames were in poor condition and new teak frames were built. Although the near new engine had low hours all hoses and belts were replaced. Both fuel tanks and freshwater tanks were flushed. The inside cabin painted. The Fynspray water pumps were reconditioned. A backing plate for the Lewmar windless was added. There was a problem with the Raymarine tiller pilot which was repaired by the manufacturer. This spring the mast was taken down for inspection and was found in attractive shape. The spreaders were remounted to the mast. The shrouds were rewired to the spreaders. The VHF antenna was replaced along with new LM400 coaxial wire. The boat bottom was also serviced. It was sanded, inspected, all blisters were ground out and filled with interlux watertite and epoxied over. The bottom and the rudder were given three coats of Interlux Micro CSC antifouling paint. At the same time the rudder was removed and inspected. The Campell propeller was polished. Both Zincs were replaced. The boat deck needs a paint job and the Treadmaster is in poor condition. She is currently moored at Captain’s Cove Marina in Delta/Ladner, British Columbia. I live in Prince George, BC.
