I am selling here a complete seven pcs Clutch Friction Disc/Plate set for the 1970 1971 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 , 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983 or 1984 Yamaha XS650 motorcycle. This is an essential item if you are restoring or riding 1 of these now vintage bikes. These are an easy instal, and then no more clutch slipping while riding away under throttle, or up hills, or if your clutch lever just feels like your not riding a bike anymore! We will ship these new in the box.. we took them out of the box so you can see the item you are purchasing. The 1974-1979 models use all seven of the discs. For 1980-1984 you only have to use six of these discs. Also these will work for the early 1970-1973 models too...the original style of the friction disc set is no longer available at all. The original clutches for 1970-1973 bikes pre-owned six friction discs and five steel. To use the modern clutch friection discs like this what most mechanics do is remove the clutch plate separator "O" rings and then add one steel plate and then use all seven of these modern XS650 friction discs and voila..the best clutch going for the early models.
