Beautifully restored 1959 Mercury Parklane Convertible. This is the top of the line model with the Lincoln 430CID V-8 with automatic trans. Power steering and brakes. No A/C. I have owned and enjoyed this beautiful automobile for 7 years, but must reluctantly sell it to raise capital for a business venture. I have invested over $50,000 in this fine No. 2 condition car, including doing all the paint, chrome, and mechanical work necessary. I added a $4,000 Continental Kit from Continental Enterprises in Kelowna, BC. Just completed rebuild of all brakes and front suspension/power steering unit at a cost over $2,200. Nice nylon top and clear plastic window. All power windows and power seat in good working order, along with the top mechanism. The red vinyl seats and carpets are all decent---no tears or rips. All gauges and speedo work fine. Nice wide whitewall bias-ply tires. Trunk and under hood in good clean order. All glass excellent and the massive windshield is free of any cracks or defects. Dummy spotlights for appearance only. Has aftermarket bubble skirts. What is needed: Factory AM radio and clock not working. Asking $39,000 obo. MUST SELL, so my loss is your gain. These Parklane convertibles are fairly rare---one just sold in Michigan in late 2011 for around $50,000. Call Larry at .
