Created by Laurie Rolland is this beautiful ceramic bowl measuring approximately 8" in diameter. Bowl is quite shallow (approximately 1-1/2") and features L. Rolland's signature fired into surface. Base is also stamped "Not for Food".

Laurie Rolland's work highlights the theme of renewal and regeneration, organic forms which integrate with the cultural object. Dish is in new condition with no chips or cracks and would be suitable as a gift.

Laurie Rolland is a Canadian living in Sechelt, British Columbia. She has made her living as a full time Potter since graduating with Honours from Sheridan College, School of Crafts and Design, of Ontario, in 1978. The unique handbuilding techniques she has developed during her long career ensure the individual character of every piece whether it is for exhibition or is functionally-based 'repeat' work.
