I have significant experience in both Criminal Defence and Commercial/Civil Litigation matters. I have been assisting clients with such legal matters throughout the Lower Mainland for a number of years.

I have represented clients in all levels of British Columbia courts (i.e. B.C. Provincial Court, B.C. Supreme Court and B.C. Court of Appeal) and have assisted clients with matters before the Supreme Court of Canada. I have also represented clients before administrative tribunals.

CRIMINAL DEFENCE SERVICES:

I have defended clients against a wide range of criminal charges, including, but not limited to, impaired, prohibited and dangerous driving, theft, mischief, fraud, uttering threats, assault (spousal, sexual and other), possession and possession for the purposes of trafficking, firearms offences and allegations of murder. I have also represented clients with respect to related quasi-criminal matters.

Retaining counsel is an important first step in defending a criminal charge or a potential criminal charge, whether you are in or out of custody. If you are under arrest or being investigated by the police, you should normally speak with a lawyer before giving any statement to the police or before taking any other significant steps.

A criminal record is a very serious matter. If you are not a Canadian citizen, a criminal record may make you inadmissible to Canada. A criminal record may also make it difficult to obtain certain employment. You should consult a lawyer before you dispose of any criminal charges (i.e. before pleading guilty).
