Purkhiser Red Coat 30 - Boutique AC30 and JTM45 Rolled Into One! - $1100 in Vancouver, British Columbia for sale

Reluctantly selling my prized Purkhiser Electronics Red Coat 30. These amps are made by Mike Purkhiser in Akron, Ohio. He started out building AC30 clones for Beatles tribute bands, and this one pretty much nails the JMI era tone. What's unique about these amps is that in channel 2 there is a roaring Marshall JTM 45 clone too, so it's basically two amps in one with the flick of a switch. This amp was actually made by Mike to be a personal amp for him, and I have the email correspondence to prove it. He used above average everything in the construction, and it shows when you play with it.

I purchased the amp used 2 years ago for $1500 and have barely used it. It needs to go somewhere where it will be appreciated. May be flexible on the price, but low balls will be ignored.
