From 1996-1997 legacy of Taylor's best sounding run on this model, this a beautiful, sweet sounding guitar that resonates ethereal bell-tones characteristic of very dense, seasoned solid Indian Rosewood. It has a Sitka Spruce solid top and all the features of fine Taylor guitars.

Its active pickup is a Fishman Matrix Infinity, providing very natural acoustic tones and bass and treble adjustment wheels. Other advantages of this pickup are that it required no holes to be cut into the side of the guitar, thus preserving the resonance qualities of the solid rosewood body.
