Vintage Ludwig Power Tom Kit in Vancouver, British Columbia for sale

Music instruments
$1

Maple Shells ordered from the factory back when they built them in Chicago and not Asia or wherever they make them now.

I have the following:
24"x 16" BD
18"x 15" FT/ BD (a floor tom which I converted into a wicked little base drum with wooden hoops and all. It still has the floor tom hardware on it so if you get some steel hoops you can still set it up as a 2nd floor tom.
16"x 13" FT
14"x 11" TT
12"x 9" TT (Awesome!)
2 x 14" snares (not from the same era but ones a 5" Yamaha DP Series with wooden shell and the other's a Pearl Signature Series with a composite shell).
Zildjian 14" A Master Sound Hi-Hats (only about three years old, paid over $300 for them).
Zildjian 21" Ride (never liked it much but it too is from 1979 and does the job).
Zildjian 17" thin crash (always loved this one).
Sabian 16" crash (not of the same era but it sounds great).
Sabian 10" hand hammered splash (best I've heard).

Only the 24" BD has tom mounts on it not the 18". You need to know this, when I ordered these drums at age 16 I got them direct from the factory without tom mounting hardware on them. Something they were reluctant to allow. I did this because I wanted Pearl Memolock hardware rather than the crappy stuff Ludwig offered before they themselves came out with their own version of memolock not long after (idiot! I know, I know). Rather than mounting all the toms on the base drum I bought Pearl stands with tom mounts for each side of the base drum. If you are a purest you could probably remove the Pearl hardware and replace it with Ludwig or maybe this is a show stopper.

The hardware is a mixture of Pearl, Tama Titan, Yamaha and Gibraltar.

I have no idea what these are worth hence the lack of a price in my ad. I'm testing the water to see what interest there is as it will be hard to part with these after 35 years so I am not going to give them away. I see there was recently someone on CL asking $1,200 for just a 24" base drum exactly like mine so if that's any indication of the value I'm ready to part with them, if that is a pipe dream then maybe not.

I'm definitely not interested in parting them out so please don't ask me to sell just the cymbols or just the floor tom etc. because it ain't gonna happen.

I do still play them from time to time so I need a full kit until they sell, if they sell.

Thanks for reading this far.

If your serious and want to come check them out please call me between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Please no text messages as I will not respond.
