For sale is a next to mint condition Pentax Spotmatic II with a Super Multi Coated Pentax 55mm F1.8 lens.

The optic is in great shape with no signs of fungus or hazing. Focus is smooth and well damped.

I am selling off a lot of my film cameras and this is one of the best Pentax cameras in the lot. It still has the plastic sync terminal covers. The package comes with an original case-lens cap and strap as well as the original instruction manual.

The difference between a Spotmatic and the Spotmatic II are as follows:

The updated SP II model was fitted with a hot shoe-similar to the model F and had a switch next to the rewind crank for X & F flash synchronization as well as a roller on the film door for flatter film transport.

The Spotmatic II also featured an improved shutter-a modified self timer as well as a modified meter with a greater EV range- increased ASA range and a brighter viewfinder with some revisions to the shape of the top cover.
