Market and capture optimum market share for this growing Dewatering Division of a world leader that offers fully integrated solutions for fluid handling in the transport and treatment of water and wastewater. Our Client specializes in delivering effective and environmentally secure water and wastewater transfer applications. It offers a full service rentals program, a complete line of submersible pumps, engine-driven suction pumps, generators, piping and complementary accessories available for either long or short-term rental. Based in Vancouver, you will work closely with your National Dewatering Manager, Branch Sales Team and several other branch locations to strategically market and secure dewatering contracts throughout British Columbia. Participating in site installation/project supervision, providing technical expertise and on-site support and marketing full service rental services, are among the wide range of 'turn-key' solutions you will introduce to new and existing customers in the Construction, Mining, and Municipal markets in your assigned sales territory. This unique 'technical sales and project management' career opportunity will appeal to the hands-on engineering or technology graduate with three to five years sales & service experience in a similar Rental or Dewatering technical environment. Preparing detailed project proposals for wastewater transfer needs such as Sewage Bypass, Excavation Dewatering, Flood Drainage, Surface Irrigation and Mining run off ponds, are but a few of the many opportunities you will have to successfully bid on and close. The position requires frequent travel (20-40%) within the Province and someone who enjoys managing their own territory building a successful business unit, conducting minor on-site troubleshooting, and above all wants to have fun contributing to the successful growth of an exciting National Dewatering Team and ones own career. The base salary will be commensurate with your potential contribution and the commission formula is highly competitive.
